Over her 25 year career as a pharmacy technician, Brandi has exemplified the spirit of collaboration. She has worked in every area of the hospital and supported many innovative changes to pharmacy practice. Her communication skills help bring the highest level of collaboration among the care teams as she respectfully educates, guides and encourages best practice. Brandi participated in projects such as medication reconciliation, hazardous medications, accreditation and quality improvement committees.

Brandi’s collaborative efforts provide a positive hospital experience that focuses on patient and resident health and safety. Her work with all members of the care team, Alberta Health Services and the community ensures safe patient care. Brandi constantly monitors factors that contribute to patient safety and diligently anticipates needs. She consistently demonstrates the value of collaboration as a key to manage and improve pharmacy services at Banff Mineral Springs Hospital. With any new initiative or change, her approach is collaborative, friendly and supportive. Her collaborative approach has helped guide the success of many quality improvement and practice changes over her career. Brandi brings a sense of pride in her work and a high level of investment in the people she serves as she provides patient-centered care and clinical support to the entire healthcare team.
