St. Marguerite Manor scheduling team

St. Marguerite Manor’s scheduling team uses their strengths and skills to enhance the site by being able to build strong teams every day even when unexpected changes pop up. The human resources members of the team are always available to answer questions or solve problems. They encourage staff to share their ideas. They emphasize the site is a team. The scheduler encourages staff to share their preferences and tries to incorporate them as much as possible. The logistics member promotes strong teams and staff know she will do her best for them.
When someone else from the site was covering for the scheduler, before she left the scheduler covered all shifts covered, completed paperwork and created a list of people open to picking up shifts. Other team members checked in to see if the person covering needed any help. Everyone pulled together when there were several sick calls for the weekend and they got all the shifts covered.
One of the best attributes of the scheduling team is their willingness to provide an explanation. They take time to teach people processes and explain the reason behind them to achieve long-term success.
Due to this team’s work, residents receive excellent care and staff are happy, which translates into the site running well.
