As an administrative assistant, Sadaf has a busy workload. Despite her many duties and the deadlines she needs to meet, Sadaf regularly seeks other ways she can help out. Her willingness to tackle new tasks has created many efficiencies at Chateau Vitaline.

In April 2022, Sadaf began working on all scheduling and payroll requirements, tasks that used to be outsourced to contracted staff. She quickly mastered the work; even reducing the number of errors that had been previously occurring. She took over the work and eliminated the need for an external payroll position.

Taking on the new role did not keep Sadaf from finding more ways to contribute. In September 2022, she asked to become a Master N95 fit tester. She trained, then did fit testing for staff who had not yet done so. In six weeks, the number of staff who had N95 mask fit testing jumped from 50-54 per cent to 95 per cent. With additional “It’s Your Move” master training coming up, Sadaf will soon be working on even more ways to enhance safety in the workplace.

Incredibly, Sadaf’s ability to multi-task allows her to take on even more. She’s worked on events including barbecues and staff appreciation days and regularly offers support wherever there’s a shortage of staff. Sadaf is a living example of going above and beyond.
