Purchasing Department
The Purchasing department is an organized and knowledgeable team that ensures other departments at Youville Home have the medical supplies they need when they need them.
It’s a large responsibility to order, purchase and deliver exactly what’s required. It’s an even bigger responsibility to do so efficiently and on time. With a focus on stewardship, the team uses their vast knowledge of medical supplies to meet the different needs of each department. They understand what has to be ordered. They deliver what’s needed – no more no less – and they always deliver on time.
The team’s “no-waste” attitude goes beyond medical supplies. They regularly collect boxes and place them in proper recycling bins and they clean empty bottles of sanitizer so they can be re-used instead of tossed out. Their good stewardship often contributes to much-appreciated cost-savings for Youville Home.
