North Cottage team, day rotation

When you love who you work with, it’s not like working at all. This is something members of the North Cottage day team at Centre de Santé Saint-Thomas understand very well. Their love and respect for each other is evident to staff and residents alike. It helps create an atmosphere where every day is a great day.

Mornings begin with regular team huddles. Each team member is encouraged to share thoughts, suggestions and strategies about how to provide the very best care for the residents. Everyone is willing to listen to each other, and when anyone needs assistance, someone is always there to provide support.  

That focus on building good relationships extends to the residents’ families. The team understands that families are partners, and always includes family members in the care of their loved ones. Everyone helps everyone – it’s a team-based strategy that works for residents, families and the North Cottage day team at St. Thomas Covenant Care.
