Vilma Reyes, registered nurse

Vilma treats all residents and staff with respect and kindness. She tries to learn about different cultures in order to better understand others’ needs and viewpoints. Vilma is good at learning from different cultural environments and works effectively to resolve problems and reach goals.

Vilma shows respect for residents’ confidentiality and privacy when doing a medical procedure by closing the curtain and making sure no other people are in the resident’s room except for her and her helper. Vilma ensures that she speaks with each resident’s primary contact when she updates their information.

Vilma is a good listener. She seeks to resolve conflict by listening to understand the experience, beliefs, and goals of those involved. Colleagues learn from her, and residents and families benefit by receiving a high quality of care.
