Candice Keddie, Program Manager, ED & Respiratory

Since joining Covenant Health in 2019, Candice has demonstrated the impact a single leader can have on teams and the organization as a whole. As program manager for the Misericordia’s emergency and respiratory departments, she has recognized numerous cost savings initiatives while supporting and strengthening her teams. Diligent in increasing growth and leadership capacity, Candice works to have frontline leaders engaged in quality and site councils.

While her management and problem solving skills have saved Covenant significant financial resources, boosting team morale and engagement are always top-of-mind for Candice. She is thoughtful in engaging her frontline staff and leaders to make sure she hears their feedback on changes and initiatives, and proactively works to enhance team cohesion. Recently, she advocated to create a workspace for emergency department physicians that is in direct proximity to nursing staff to promote a more collaborative work environment with a team approach.
