For nearly 30 years, Narinder has approached her work with the understanding that she is there to make life better for residents, and that St. Joseph’s Auxiliary Hospital is their home. She is careful and respectful with residents’ rooms and belongings and takes great pride in making sure residents are comfortable and happy. If a resident is missing clothing, she is happy to help track it down with their family members. She can often be found spending extra time helping label clothing to ensure residents receive them back faster, and makes sure floors are waxed before special occasions so residents can be proud of how their home looks.

Narinder’s compassion also extends to her colleagues. She never forgets a birthday or years of service milestone, and she is known for always making time for people, regardless of how busy she is. When her staff lose loved ones, Narinder is there for them and ready to listen, because she has lost people too. She is someone residents, families and colleagues alike can depend on.
