Cynthia exemplifies compassion as she serves residents with genuine dedication, loyalty and joy. She has the resident’s best interest at heart and is always looking for activities and items that will enhance their experiences, finding games and resources on her own time that will specifically engage or support a resident’s unique needs. She pays close attention to each resident’s likes and dislikes and remembers these preferences so she can best engage them. Cynthia connects with family members and enjoys making these connections to enhance the quality of life for the residents. She championed the family involvement initiative and helped bring it to life as she engages and empowers resident families. Her dedication, passion and attention to detail helped make this initiative a success.

Cynthia is a warm and caring individual who continually thinks about the residents and genuinely enjoys her interactions this them. She brings them joy and laughter as she expresses compassion in every interaction. She is always respectful, kind and caring. She empathizes and grieves with families during times of loss and she celebrates with them the daily joys of life. She is extremely knowledgeable and uses her skills to build relationships. Her genuine care is demonstrated as she brings her family to volunteer and instills the same values of kindness and caring in her children. Her compassion for the residents at Youville Home is incredibly heart-felt and genuine.
