If there’s one fault with Judy, a licensed practical nurse at Villa Marie, it’s that there’s only one of her. Families of the residents Judy cares for have commented that they wish Judy could be cloned.

Judy has touched the hearts of residents, family members and staff through her compassionate care, respectful approach and her commitment to integrity in everything she does. Judy holds herself to the highest expectations and respectfully guides others to do the same. She believes she and her team are there to enhance the life of residents, and she holds herself and her team accountable to do that.

Families regularly seek her out because they know Judy will listen to all of their concerns and always follow through with answers. She’s challenged superiors and staff – respectfully – when she did not feel something was in the best interest of the resident.

Judy is a leader, a role model for team members and a dedicated nurse who puts her residents first. To families, she’s a go to; an advocate for what’s right and a shoulder to lean on. Families have come to understand, with Judy on their side, their loved ones are always in excellent hands.
