Joni Antiado, administration assistant team leader

Joni has worked in a variety of roles with Covenant Care since the early days of Holy Cross Manor, from custodial duties to staff scheduling and other human resources supports. Staff go to Joni because she is approachable, respectful and always finds a way to provide them with a solution. When a correction of some kind is needed, she does so with a quiet grace and respectful tone.

One of her functions is to interact with and situate new residents as they seek a safe place to live. Joni makes the families and residents feel at ease, answers their questions and remains respectful regardless of the ways she is being interacted with. She is diverse and multiculturally inclusive in her approach. She is dependable and kind and seeks the best for those she interacts with.

One of Joni's strongest gifts is her ability to listen and to meet the needs presented as a result of what she has heard. She also listens to staff and resident concerns and does her best to be fair and offer healthy and appropriate responses. She does not take sides and will do her best to invite crucial conversations that initiate hearing all sides before advising those she is talking with on a direction to take.
