Grace Elgersma, registered nurse

Grace takes to time to listen to each individual to better understand their situation and make appropriate goals to achieve better care for residents and a better work environment for staff at Villa Marie.

Grace is always looking for better ways to help care for our residents, and she collaborates with her team to come to a resolution. She will involve everyone in her decisions to make sure proper care is given to our residents and always shows gratitude toward her team. She is consistently willing to lend a hand when asked, even if she is busy herself.

Grace finds the time to communicate with everyone before making decisions. She is always respectful of resident dignity and beliefs. Her fellow team members feel valued by her, because she takes the time to involve them in resident care decisions.
