With her expertise in mental health and addictions in senior populations, Lina has a strong understanding of the kinds of challenges her patients and their family members face every day. She treats them with dignity and kindness, empowers them to be active in their own wellness and never hesitates to offer extra support when patients and families face difficult circumstances. Lina’s gentle, caring nature make patients and families feel safe and assured.

Lina’s empathetic and compassionate nature is particularly apparent when she supports patients and families in their times of greatest need. She will offer to be the contact person for family members who live outside the Edmonton area if a patient becomes terminally ill, providing kindness and comfort to both the patient and their loved ones. For patients who need extra support or don’t have family to accompany them to appointments, Lina takes extra time out of her busy day to make sure they understand the information and have the resources they need. She will often take calls from patients on her days off to respond to questions, address concerns or connect them with the right resources, making sure they don’t feel alone in their journey.
