Susan creates a very welcoming environment when people enter the door of St. Marguerite Manor. She works as a receptionist and screener, greeting diverse populations of people with a cheerful, inclusive attitude.

Susan has a way of making people feel very welcome despite the fact that the COVID-19 regulations vary and change and need to be adhered to strictly. She is kind but firm, and people respect her for who she is and who she works for because of her exemplary example. Her safety protocol and application of the screening process leaves staff feeling safe when they come to work each day. And regardless of what your orientation is to the COVID-19 situation, she makes sure all are treated equally and fairly.

Susan cares deeply for all the staff, families and residents and people who enter the building. She will engage any resident that she sees. Many times in the morning you will find a group of residents surrounding her engaging in healthy conversation as they pass their day. She is an active voice for all who need her support and representation.
