Finuela has the ability to build trusting relationships with Foyer Lacombe residents and family members. At times there are difficult situations that arise in regards to a resident’s medical treatments.  Finuela is always gracious and polite. By building a supportive and meaningful relationship with residents and families, Finuela has the courage to say no if deemed appropriate. She has the ability to see the bright side of situations and displays an optimistic attitude.

Finuela has a keen sense of quality and maintains a high standard of work.  She places priority on person-centered care and this guides her thinking, motivation, time, and resources.  Her many years of experience enable her to see where any deficiencies might exist or where there are areas that need improvement.  She consistently looks for ways to make the work safe and effective for the best resident care.

Finuela is meticulous about the professional care provided to every resident and family member.  She exudes knowledge and skill in her role and is quick to see where a process, method, or decision needs to be changed in a way that betters resident care. She is always on board with finding new, creative ways to work with her team to come up with improved good practices for the care provided.
