Carmela Cordova, reception assistant

Carmela is often the first person that residents, families and staff meet and speak to when they come to Dulcina Hospice. Her desire to extend kindness and compassion to all she sees in a day is very evident. She is respectful, thoughtful and honouring when dealing with different points of view. Carmela also regularly offers her expertise in knowing another language to help support residents, staff and families.

She confidently supports not only Dulcina leadership but all the administrative workings of a busy hospice, including four primary care physicians, nursing staff, and residents. Carmela helps keep everyone going and all together. And she often steps in when any kind of help is needed. 

Carmela is naturally joyous and exhibits spontaneous tenderness to all who meet her. Her dedication to her work and to serving others is very much enjoyed and appreciated.
